has been broadcast over
Pacifica Radio's
New York outlet,
WBAI · 99.5 FM for over 30 years. It is
broadcast on Monday from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Current
host, Met Council Board Chair Scott Sommer, stepped
into the studio after Met Council leaders such as
Esther Rand, Roberto "Bob" Marrero and Susan Radosh
established Housing Notebook as a staple of WBAI's
schedule. Sommer, a long time tenant activist
and former legal services attorney, has been
discussing issues of housing and related urban
affairs and giving advice on tenants' rights over
the air since 1984. Sommer, active in the
trade union movement, works for the United Auto
Workers. |
