Becoming a member is easy. Your membership lasts one year, and entitles you to a free subscription to Tenant/Inquilino and notification about upcoming events and rallies. Plus, you make an invaluable contribution to tenants' rights, and help keep New York City a diverse and wonderful place.

There are two easy ways to join:

We're encouraging tenants to sign up as Metropolitan Council on Housing Sustaining Members - a new type of membership structure. As a Sustaining Member, instead of paying your dues annually you can sign up to have a smaller amount deducted from your bank account or billed to your credit card on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Your pledge can be in any dollar amount - as little as $5 or $10 a month - or more if you can. The amount is up to you. What matters most is that we can count on steady, dependable contributions each month. We keep your information secure and private.

1) Annual Members: pay this year's dues by check

You can also pay this year's membership dues by check. Memberships start at $35 annually, or $20 for low-income households. For those who can give more, we encourage you to do so!
